Working in Denmark
This section provides information on job seach and working culture in Denmark.
The Danish Model
Denmark has a unique labour market structure, called the Danish model. This means it is almost exclusively employers (represented by the DA-Danish Employers' Confederation) and employees (LO - Rural Organization in Denmark) who negotiate collective agreements that apply to all employees in different occupations. This means that the State entrusts negotiations on agreements to labour, and therefore they also have great influence on social policy.
